הכניסה המזרחית למושב

רָמַת רָזִיאֵל הוא מושב בהרי ירושלים. המושב קרוי על-שם דוד רזיאל, מפקד האצ"ל, שנפל ב-1941 בעיראק בעת שליחות מטעם הצבא הבריטי. בתחילה בקשו המוסדות לקרוא למקום כסלון, ואנשי האצ"ל ראו בכך ניסיון השכחה מכוון, אולם לבסוף ניתן השם כסלון ליישוב אחר.

היסטוריה

המושב נוסד באוקטובר 1948 בידי יוצאי האצ"ל וגרעין בית"ר, והיה המושב הראשון של יוצאי האצ"ל. טקס רשמי של עלייה לקרקע התקיים בינואר 1949. אנשי האצ"ל ציינו את הקמת היישוב כהוכחה לכך שלוחמי המחתרת יכולים בעת שלום למלא משימות התיישבות, אל מול טענות של אנשי תנועת העבודה שאין לרמת רזיאל מספיק מתיישבים מאחורי הפלקטים שנתלו לטקס. למרות המתיחות, הגיעו אנשי פלמ"ח מצובה הסמוכה לברך את המתיישבים בתקווה ליחסי שכנות טובה.

המושב הוקם כמשלט צבאי שיתופי. על היישוב עבר משבר במהלך 1949, חברים רבים עזבו והוא עמד להתפורר, אבל חברים חדשים הצטרפו וחיזקו את המקום. שטח אדמות המושב הורחב לכ-5,500 דונם ובשנת 1952 הוחלט להסב את המושב ממושב שיתופי למושב רגיל. בשנת 1961 נסלל כביש גישה למושב מכביש 395.

ענפי המשק כוללים לול ומטע. במקום יקב וחווה לגידול דגי נוי.
