|primary |name= }} גבעת ישעיהו הוא מושב עובדים בחבל עדולם שבשפלת יהודה, הסמוך לעמק האלה מדרום ושוכן כעשרה ק"מ מדרום לבית שמש. המושב שייך לתנועת "העובד הציוני".

היסטוריה

המושב הוקם בשנת 1958 על ידי עולים מהונגריה, ונקרא על שם ישעיהו פרס, חוקר ארץ ישראל, והוא נכלל במועצה האזורית מטה יהודה.

בנובמבר 1965 חדרה חוליית מחבלים מהפת"ח מירדן למושב, ופוצצה בית מגורים.

בסמוך למושב, בתוואי הכביש העובר לידו, שרידי דרך רומית קדומה, שעל אחת מאבני המיל שלה נמצאה כתובת מימי הקיסרים ספטימיוס סוורוס וקרקלה. בסמוך למושב גם מספר אתרים ארכאולוגיים מתוירים, ובהם תל שוכה ("גבעת התורמוסים"), תל עדולם, חורבת עתרי וחורבת מדרס.

המאה ה-21

כיום אוכלוסיית המושב מעורבת. בשנת 2000 החלה להיבנות בו הרחבה.

המושב סמוך ליישובים צפרירים, שריגים (לי-און) ועגור. עד 1948 השתרעו במקום אדמות הכפר עג'ור.

בצד חקלאות, רבים מתושביו עוסקים בעבודות חוץ, בשירותים ציבוריים, או בעלי מקצועות חפשיים וכן באירוח ובהסעדה באזור.

במושב ניתן למצוא גידולים חקלאיים כגון: ענבים, זיתים, אפרסקים, ואף לולי תרנגולות.

אף על פי שאינו משתייך לתנועת בני המושבים, פועלת בו תנועת הנוער "חטיבת בני המושבים". במסגרתה תורמים בני הנוער למושב מבחינת פעילות בחגים ובהתנדבות. כמו כן ניתן למצוא בו גרעינר מהתנועה וכן עובדת בו ענ"קית (עובדת נוער-קהילה).

הילדים לומדים בבית הספר היסודי "הר-טוב" בקיבוץ צרעה, חלקם לומדים בבית הספר היצירתי המשלב "קרוב" בקמפוס נחם, וחלקם בבית הספר הדמוקרטי בנתיב הל"ה. במסגרת החטיבה העליונה לומדים הנערים בהר-טוב (על-יסודי) או ב"דרור" על יסודי משלב יצירתי, בצור הדסה.

במרכז המושב שני גני ילדים.
