|primary |name= }} מסילת ציון הוא מושב עובדים צפונית לבית שמש, השייך למועצה אזורית מטה יהודה שבמחוז ירושלים. נוסד ככפר עבודה בשנת 1950 על ידי עולים מתימן,[4] אך לאחר זמן מה עזבו המייסדים ובמקומם באו עולים מקוצ'ין שבהודו.[5]
היישוב משתייך לתנועה החדשה. שטחו כאלף דונם וגובהו כ-350 מטרים מעל פני הים.
שמו של היישוב סמלי. בהיותו סמוך ל"דרך בורמה", הוצע על ידי זאב וילנאי, והוא מבטא את פריצת הדרך לירושלים במלחמת העצמאות. הוא מבוסס על הפסוק: ”למען ציון לא אחשה, ולמען ירושלים לא אשקוט... עברו עברו בשערים פנו דרך העם, סולו סולו המסילה סקלו מאבן, הרימו נס על העמים... אמרו לבת ציון הנה ישעך בא” (ספר ישעיהו, פרק ס"ב, פסוק א'-י"ב).
ילדי ונערי המושב לומדים בבית הספר היסודי "השחר" שבמושב טל שחר, ובבית ספר "הרטוב" בחטיבה והתיכון.
