|primary |name= }} נַחַם (נהגה במלעיל) הוא מושב סמוך לעיר בית שמש השייך לפועל המזרחי. נוסד בשנת 1950, על ידי עולים מתימן וקוצ'ין.

נקרא על שם ראש בית אב בשבט יהודה, שבתחומו נמצא היישוב: ”וּבְנֵי אֵשֶׁת הוֹדִיָּה אֲחוֹת נַחַם אֲבִי קְעִילָה הַגַּרְמִי וְאֶשְׁתְּמֹעַ הַמַּעֲכָתִי.” (דברי הימים א' ד', י"ט)

היסטוריה

המושב הוקם על חורבות הכפר הערבי ערטוף שנכבש במלחמת העצמאות. בין משפחות המייסדים ניתן למנות את צברי, דוד, ערוסי, חוברה ויחיא. בשנותיו הראשונות סבל המושב מפגיעות של מסתננים בגלל קרבתו לגבול.

בשבת, 10 במרץ 1956 (כ"ז אדר תשט"ז), חדרו מחבלים (פדאיון) ובראשם מוסטפא סמואלי למושב וארבו מתחת לביתו של ר' שלמה סלימאן צובארה (נסים). צובארה, שישב ולמד משנה ועיין בספר עין יעקב לאור עששית ונרות השבת, שמע רעשים מחוץ לביתו וברגע שקם אל החלון לבדוק את פשר הרעש, ספג צרור כדורים מנשק אוטומטי. בשארית כוחותיו רשם צובארה על הקיר "אם אשכחך ירושלים תשכח ימיני". המתנקש סמואלי נתפס ונהרג כמה קילומטרים משם, ליד המושב מחסיה.

ב-2003 נוסדה במקום ישיבה תיכונית של רשת אמי"ת נחשון, המשמשת כבית ספר מקיף לנוער דתי.

הספר "מפאתי תימן: מסוק אלאת'ניין עד מושב נחם" (2010) מאת נעמי חובארה, ממייסדי המושב, מגולל את סיפור הקמתו של המקום ומתאר את העלייה ההמונית למדינת ישראל בשנות החמישים, דרך סיפורן האישי של נשות יהדות תימן.

לרבים מתושבי המושב קשרי משפחה. בין המשפחות התימניות הוותיקות והגדולות במושב נמנית משפחת שמריהו (במקור מחפוד, שמשמעותו בתימנית שמירת האל).

סמוך למושב ניתן לראות את שרידי המושבה הישנה הר טוב כמו בית המיסיון, בית הקברות (באזור התעשייה הר טוב) ומספר בתי אבן, שבאחד מהם מוזיאון קטן לתולדות הר-טוב. לידו הוקמה יד למייסדי הר-טוב. המושבה הוכרזה כאתר לשימור של המועצה לשימור אתרים.
