|primary |name= }} כפר החורש (כְּפַר הַחֹרֶשׁ) הוא קיבוץ השוכן על גבעה בעמק יזרעאל, ממערב לעיר נצרת, בתחום השיפוט של המועצה האזורית עמק יזרעאל
היסטוריה עריכה
האדמות נרכשו על ידי הקק"ל בשנת 1930. היישוב הוקם ב-30 בנובמבר 1930[5] על ידי קבוצת חברים מארגון הכפר. הוא היה מאוכלס בכ-15 חברים, שתפקידם היה להכשיר את המקום ליישוב קבע, על ידי גידור ונטיעות. הם גרו תחילה בצריפים, וכעבור כמה חודשים בנו לעצמם בית[6].
בשנת 1933 עזבה קבוצה זו את המקום על מנת לעבור למקום קבע משלה, ובמקומם הגיעו 40 מאנשי גורדוניה שבאו למקום מנס ציונה שם ישבו קודם לכן[5].
בשנת 1942 הוקם בית הבראה על הגבעה שמדרום לקיבוץ. בית ההבראה נועד להיות עוגן כלכלי לקיבוץ[7].
על פי תוכנית החלוקה נועד כפר החורש להכלל במדינה הערבית[8]. במלחמת העצמאות היה היישוב מוקף באוכלוסייה ערבית וסבל מעזיבת תושבים.
לאחר המלחמה הגיעו למקום אנשי קיבוץ צאלים, חלקם הגיעו מקיבוצם שבנגב, וחלקם מקבוצתם ששכנה ליד רחובות, ובסך הכל כ-100 איש. הם הגיעו לכפר החורש במרץ 1949 במטרה לחזק את היישוב[9]. אנשי צאלים לא הסתדרו עם התושבים הוותיקים, ולאחר זמן מה הם הציבו אולטימטום: או הם או הוותיקים, והוותיקים עזבו את המקום[7].
בשנת 1951, המקום נעשה צר ל-200 התושבים, והוחלט להעביר את הקיבוץ לגבעה שמדרום לו, עליה נמצא בית ההבראה של הקיבוץ, ואת בית ההבראה להעביר למקום הקיבוץ[7].
כיום עריכה
משנת 2000[10] כפר החורש הוא קיבוץ מתחדש (מופרט). ענפי המשק העיקריים שלו הם מאפיית אנג'ל-אורנים (נמכרה בשנת 2023), וגד"ש (גידולי שדה).
ביער כפר החורש מתקיימים סמינרי הדרכה ומחנות קיץ של תנועת הנוער העובד והלומד.
ליד היישוב עובר שביל לרוכבי אופניים ("סינגל") הנקרא "סינגל כפר החורש".
