צדק","marker-color":"#808000"}}],"type":"FeatureCollection"}]</mapframe> בית סוהר גבעון הוא בית סוהר במחוז מרכז של שירות בתי הסוהר. הוא שוכן ברמלה סמוך למתחם איילון. בית הסוהר הוקם במאי 2004, כלואים בו בעיקר אסירים פליליים השפוטים לעד 5 שנים, אסירים פליליים שנותרו להם 5 שנות מאסר או פחות ושוהים בלתי חוקיים. דירוגו הביטחוני הוא הנמוך ביותר. פועלות בו מסגרות חינוכיות, הכשרות מקצועיות וחוגים שונים. האסירים מועסקים בעבודות משק ובינוי בתוך בית הסוהר ומחוצה לו (ביחידות מחוז מרכז). בית הסוהר גבעון מכיל כ-350 אסירים ומשרתים בו כ-140 אנשי סגל בהם אנשי מנהלה, ביטחון וטיפול.

באוקטובר 2015 נפתח בבית הסוהר אגף לקטינים לאסירים ביטחוניים, והוא מאכלס בני נוער פלסטינים, ושוהים בלתי חוקיים. בסוף שנת 2018 נפתחה התוכנית השיקומית "בית מעבר" על מנת להכין את האסירים לחיים שאחרי המאסר.

שם בית הסוהר לקוח מפרק י' של ספר יהושע: "שֶׁמֶשׁ בְּגִבְעוֹן דּוֹם וְיָרֵחַ בְּעֵמֶק אַיָּלוֹן", וזאת בשל קרבתו לבית סוהר איילון.
