תיאו פורשייר (בצרפתית: Théo Pourchaire; נולד ב-20 באוגוסט 2003) הוא נהג מרוצים צרפתי החבר באקדמיית הנהגים של סאובר ומשמש כנהג מחליף וכנהג מבחן בקבוצת הפורמולה 1 סאובר. זכה באליפות הפורמולה 2 בעונת 2023 עם קבוצת ART גרנד פרי.

קריירת מרוצים עריכה

פורשייר החל להתחרות בקארטינג בגיל שבע,[1] והתחרה באליפויות רבות בצרפת וברחבי אירופה.[2][3][4][5] בשנת 2018 החל להתחרות באופן מקצועי,[6] ולאחר מכן התחרה באליפות פורמולה 4 הצרפתית[7][8] ובאליפות פורמולה 4 הגרמנית[9][10] (בה זכה ב-2019).[11]

לקראת עונת 2020 התחיל להתחרות באליפות פורמולה 3 מטעם קבוצת ART Grand Prix, לצד הנהגים אלכסנדר סמוליאר וסבסטיאן פרננדס.[12][13]את העונה סיים פורשייר במקום השני, עם 161 נקודות, שני רק לאוסקר פיאסטרי, שסיים אותה עם 164 נקודות, במאבק משולש (יחד עם לוגאן סרג'נט) שנמשך עד למרוץ האחרון של העונה.[14][15] בשני המרוצים האחרונים של עונת 2020 בפורמולה 2 התחרה עבור קבוצת "BWT HWA Racelab", אך לא השיג נקודות.[16][17] לקראת עונת 2021 עבר להתחרות בקביעות באליפות הפורמולה 2 עבור ART Grand Prix,[18][19] וסיים במקום החמישי, עם 140 נקודות.[20] בעונת 2022 סיים במקום השני, עם 164 נקודות, כסגנו של האלוף פליפה דרוגוביץ'.[21][22][23][24] בעונת 2023 המשיך להתחרות עבור אותה קבוצה,[25] ובסיומה זכה באליפות לאחר מאבק ממושך עם פרדריק וסטי.

פורמולה 1 עריכה

לקראת עונת 2019 הפך לחבר באקדמיית סאובר.[26][27] באוגוסט 2021 החל לשמש כנהג המבחן של אלפא רומיאו באליפות הפורמולה 1,[28][29][30] ואף היה אחד המתמודדים על מושב הנהג הפנוי לקראת עונת 2022 (לצידו של ולטרי בוטאס), מושב שבסופו של דבר הוענק לגואניו ז'ו.[31] לקראת עונת 2023 הפך לנהג המחליף של הקבוצה.[32]
