|primary |name= }} פּוֹרִיָּה (נְוֵה עוֹבֵד) הוא יישוב קהילתי באזור הצפון ליד העיר טבריה, על רכס פוריה ושייך למועצה אזורית עמק הירדן, היישוב שוכן סמוך לבית החולים פוריה.

היסטוריה עריכה

היישוב הוקם בשנת 1949 על ידי עולים מצפון אפריקה מפוני מעברת בית וגן. בעבר רוב תושבי היישוב הועסקו במפעלים האזוריים ובקיבוצי עמק הירדן, וכיום רוב האוכלוסייה מורכבת מבעלי מקצועות חופשיים שעובדים בטבריה ובאזור הגליל התחתון. בפוריה נווה עובד קיימים מספר גנים מגילאי 3 חודשים- 6 שנים בחינוך ממלכתי, וילדי היישוב לומדים בבתי ספר בעמק בחינוך ממלכתי.
