Sounds of the Season: The Enya Collection (בעברית: "צלילי העונה: האוסף של אניה") הוא המיני-אלבום הרביעי של הזמרת-יוצרת והמוזיקאית האירית אניה.[1] המיני-אלבום יצא לאור ב-28 בנובמבר 2006 על ידי חברות התקליטים ריינו קאסטום פרודקטס ו-NBC יוניברסל בחנויות טארגט שברחבי ארצות הברית.[1] המיני-אלבום הוא אוסף של שישה שירי חג המולד, שארבעה מהם נכללו במהדורת חג המולד המיוחדת של אלבום האולפן השישי של אניה, Amarantine ‏(2005).[2]

בהמשך, הופץ בשם המחודש, Christmas Secrets EP, כאשר יצא מחדש בקנדה על ידי חברת התקליטים וורנר מיוזיק קנדה.[3]

רקע עריכה

בשנת 2006 פנתה אניה לטארגט במטרה להקליט מיני-אלבום של שירי חג המולד שיופץ באופן בלעדי בחנויות החברה ברחבי ארצות הברית. הצעתה של אניה נענתה בחיוב, ונוצרה בשותפות עם חברת הטלוויזיה האמריקאית NBC. על המיני-אלבום הכריזו לראשונה באתר האינטרנט של הזמרת ב-10 באוקטובר 2006. כדי לקדם אותו, ביצעה אניה את "The Magic of the Night" ואת "It's in the Rain" לרגל חג המולד בתוכנית הטלוויזיה Christmas in Rockefeller ב-29 בנובמבר 2006.[4][5]
