אוניית המשוטה "רייזינג סטאר" (באנגלית: PS Rising Star) הייתה אוניית מלחמה של הצי הצ'ילאני (אנ'), שהוכנסה לשירות ב-1821. הייתה זו אוניית מפרשים תלת-תורנית עם מנוע קיטור לעזר, חמושה ב-20 תותחים, 10 בכל דופן. המשוטות להנעתה הותקנו בתוך גוף האונייה, משני צדי השדרית, כדי לגונן עליהן בשעת קרב מפני תותחי האויב. ה"רייזינג סטאר" נבנתה באנגליה בשנים 1818–1820 ביוזמתו של תומאס קוקרן (1775–1860), קצין הצי המלכותי הבריטי ומפקד הצי הצעיר של צ'ילה במלחמה לעצמאותה (אנ') נגד ספרד.[1]
התקנת האונייה להפלגה התארכה בשל בעיות במערכת ההנעה, ו"רייזינג סטאר" יצאה לדרכה מאנגליה רק באוקטובר 1821 והגיעה לצ'ילה לאחר עיכובים נוספים ביוני 1822, אחרי שהמלחמה כבר הסתיימה. היא נחשבת לאוניית הקיטור הראשונה וגם לאוניית הקיטור המלחמתית הראשונה שהפליגה מאירופה לאוקיינוס השקט, דרך מצרי מגלן. ב-1826 נמכרה, מנועה ומכונותיה פורקו, והיא הוסבה לאוניית מפרשים מסחרית רגילה. "רייזינג סטאר" נטרפה על חופי חצי האי פורקאלה במפרץ הפיני ב-1830.[1]
